Location: Palo Alto, California Schedule: Full-time, M-F Position Summary The Quality Documentation Technician will review and interpret industry and customer specifications, in terms of customer quality and processing requirements. This role will ensure that standards are effectively integrated into our quality control system, as part of our value-added service to our customers. This role will plan, develop, implement, and direct actions concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards and systems for processes, materials, and products. This role will also be responsible for conducting failure investigations, determining, and reviewing root causes of failures in order to initiate and orchestrate corrective actions. Familiarity with plating/coating industry a plus, but not mandatory. Job Summary: Responsible for custom fabrication of customer’s trucks. Duties/Responsibilities: Support daily functions including, but not limited to: • Install, test, and diagnose hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and filter assemblies • Hydraulic systems include open center, closed center with load sense pumps and EPC valve sections • Utilize prints and diagrams for hydraulic systems in truck build-up process • Regular communication with Team Leader and Operations Manager to assess assigned job and identify parts and materials required for build up • Working cooperatively and proactively with customers • Develop continual process improvement with managers and co-workers • Parts delivery and pickup • Janitorial work beyond keeping work area uncluttered and swept • Work a 10-hour shift Monday through Friday, and a 4 hour shift two Saturdays a month • Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization Required Skills/Abilities: • General comprehension of, and experience in, the truck build up process • General understanding of truck components • General understanding of hydraulic systems; open and closed center; knowledge of laws relating to hydraulic flow, pressure, installation of components, adjustments, testing, etc. • General mechanical aptitude • Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision • Ability to use hand tools • Follow all company safety rules and policies and operate equipment in a safe manner • Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions, diagrams, schematics, and prints • Ability to effectively perform job functions with input from manager and customers • Great attitude and ability to work with others • Good communication skills, written and verbal • Knowledge of computers and various software programs is desirable • Knowledge of on-board truck computer controls; including electrical multiplexing and CAN Bus systems is desirable Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent • Current regular driver’s license to move our vehicles • Forklift operator certification • Overhead crane operator certification • Knowledge of computers and various software programs is desirable Physical Requirements (representative but not exhaustive): • Sitting, crouching, kneeling • Fit in tight spaces • Manual finger dexterity • Heavy lifting; 50 pounds or more • Twisting, bending, reaching, and stretching • Long periods of standing • Exposure to shop noise and dust • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures Core Values: • Integrity with a strong moral compass • Exceptional work ethic with grit • Team player attitude • Innovation

We are looking for an experienced dump truck or mix truck operator. Class A CDL is required. We are willing to send willing applicants without a CDL, but wish to obtain one, to truck driving school. We will pay for the schooling and hotel while attending the school. In exchange, the applicant agrees to work for us for a minimum of 3 years, or he/she must pay back the cost of the schooling.
