New facility in Kent needs with help sorting clothes, ironing and folding. Shift starts at 8am and ends about 3pm or when work is done. only part time right now. Thursday, Friday Saturday and Sunday. Position Summary – Thermal Operations Manager The Manager ofThermal Operations will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operational functions of Vivid’s Thermal Spray operations in Santa Clara— including equipment maintenance, processing, manufacturing, applicable technological innovation, implementation of 6-sigma and lean tools. Key Responsibilities Production, Processing and Manufacturing Oversight • Lead and manage thermal spray production operations to ensure timely delivery, consistent quality, and cost efficiency. • Develop and maintain production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Maintenance and Reliability • Supervise Thermal Spray operations facility and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life. • Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Continuous Improvement & Quality • Work with quality management systems and corrective actions to reduce defects and rework. • Support standardizing processes, documentation, and best practices throughout thermal operations. Qualifications • Strongly prefer leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in technically demanding environments. • Experience and strong abilities to troubleshoot, install and maintain industrial equipment including air Compressors, dust collectors, motors, and a willingness to trouble shoot thermal coating equipment. • Strong understanding of facilities electrical and plumbing installation and maintenance. • Strong technical understanding of surface treatments, paints, or precision finishing processes, or similar processes required. • Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred • Detail-oriented, honest, transparent and resourceful. • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering degree is preferred but not required. Compensation - Salary is dependent on skills and experience $44/hr - $60/hr.
