The Shift Supervisor/Lead role is a key position in our growing operation at our Greenville, Ohio location. This role encompasses the staffing, supervision, direction, training, and evaluation of an assigned production team. Directs and controls multiple production operation. Safely ensures all phases of manufacturing are being performed efficiently and effectively. Identifies and solves any issues or problems with equipment or personnel. Recommends and drives formula improvements, equipment and engineering revisions. Provides training as needed. Maintains open lines of communication with Supply Chain Planning, Quality/Lab, Maintenance and Warehouse support groups to ensure production schedules are met. Coordinates publishing of process condition set up sheets; updating these conditions and maintaining the process conditions database. Produces all shop floor paperwork as required for process order production. Coordinates and administers all aspects of training for new hires as well as long term associates. Complies with and enforces all company policies and procedures. Ensures consistent and maximum production while maintaining acceptable quality control. Ensures efficient use of staffing by effective planning of vacation schedules and arranging the required coverage when necessary. Ensures that product loss and scrap production are kept to a minimum. Administers performance appraisals of production associates. Establishes, communicates and provides timely feedback to assigned workforce on objectives, goals and expectations. Ensures production supply inventories are maintained and notifies the appropriate purchasing associates when items need to be restocked. Reviews and corrects information in E-Time for time-keeping of production associate's hours. Ensures that attendance issues are reported and handled in accordance with the attendance policy. Coordinates with other Supervisors to provide seamless shift turnover and appropriate staffing. Ensures plant production area housekeeping is maintained in "Tour Ready" conditions at all times in accordance with housekeeping guidelines. Other projects/duties as assigned. Have you been looking to make a move?  This is a newly created position and a great opportunity for a proven proffessional hazmat tanker driver located in North Carolina!  Our OTR Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) CDL-A Hazmat Drivers transport CNG / Renewable Natural Gas for several projects across the USA. Our drivers are regularly dispatched on dedicated and non-dedicated customer runs, they also provide vacation / staffing relief for local drivers stationed throughout the U.S.A., and occassionally company equipment moves. Often drivers fly into an area and are responsible for a dedicated run for up to 2-3 weeks and fly back for scheduled home time. Our OTR CDL-A Hazmat Drivers serve our long-haul, Mobile Energy Solutions (MES), operations by the safe transportation of compressed biomethane (Hazmat 1972). Drivers primarily deliver and unload CNG to a wide assortment of client locations and job sites. The Quality Technician’s role will be seen as pivotal in our efforts to drive at-source quality at ALMAG. The role requires the individual to support new product introduction, provide quality training, support, and to work collaboratively with various teams to develop standard work and ensure compliance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The quality technician’s primary responsibility is to positively support the various departments in assuring that the requirements of the customer and quality management system are being met throughout each department.  Additionally, the quality technician contributes to the continuous improvement of Almag’s quality system. The duties and responsibilities of the Quality Technician are detailed below, but not limited to the following:   Supporting the New Product Introduction process by assuring new customer requirements are understood and achieved. Responsible for performing audits of various departments to ensure that the QMS requirements are being met. Communicate new product status, its performance based on data, and provide samples and feedback to the respective departments with continuous improvement approach in mind. Responsible for collecting samples as required for various customer and internal requirements. Responsible for tracking and supporting Quality Containment processes for nonconforming product in all departments. Responsible for supporting production team in achieving customer requirements through training, auditing, and development of standard documents. Provide direction and support to any special sorting if needed, with the focus on accuracy and efficiency of sorting. Perform product testing for mechanical properties. Support team lead and shift supervisors to determine criteria for acceptance or rejection when there is uncertainty. Provide direction to the team if clarification is required for WO notes or requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience At least 3 years’ experience in quality, working in manufacturing environment. ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) would be an asset. Certified Internal Auditor would be an asset. Technical Skills/Competence Excellent teamwork and collaboration across departments and within teams Work Efficiently Flexibility/Adaptability to meet customer business requirements. Loads coil material and threads through roll feed equipment. Makes repairs and preventative maintenance for proper machine care. Maintains operation of parts washer and lube tank.
