Perform periodic inventories of plant property, materials, and equipment. Gather information to support inventory records, discrepancies, and assist with corrective actions. Process disposal documentation as required, and post status record changes to maintain control of equipment dispositions. Process material receipts; enter data in the inventory control system; enter receiving and shipping documentation; and notify management of discrepancies with maximum supervision. Requirements A High School Diploma and (2-3) years of general work experience is required. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of various tools and machines. Responsibilities: Operate metalworking machines such as chop saw, table saw, drill presses, and grinders. Perform welding processes such as MIG and TIG welding. Can weld aluminum, steel and stainless. Measure and mark materials for cutting and fabrication. Layout, cut, shape, assemble, and join metal components using hand tools and power tools. Perform quality control checks on finished products.
