Job Summary: G+D has an outstanding opportunity for a Machine Operator in our Lamination Department at our Bolingbrook plant on 1st shift working Monday through Friday 5:30am-1:30pm with required overtime during our peak season. Load and unload stock efficiently and safely. Maintain department inventory and supplies, ensuring everything is accounted for. Report any maintenance needs to the Maintenance Department promptly. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure product specifications are met. Complete all required documentation and data entry accurately and in a timely manner. Verify material conformance to specifications. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace. Verify that guards at pinch points and potential burn areas are present before operating the machine. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the highest quality standards. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures, taking immediate action to correct safety and security issues.
