Skills and Experiences You’ll Need as a Recycling Technician 1: Requires high school education or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered. Related work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Requires an initial 24 hours of training in RCRA hazardous waste operations, OSHA and RCRA emergency response training. Ability to understand and apply detailed written and oral instructions, documents, and procedure manuals.  Ability to identify the hazardous materials for the work area, their proper safe usage, and the health hazards of applicable substances. Ability to use a computer. Certified forklift operator, or able to obtain certification. Work Environment for a Recycling Technician 1: Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods; Good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. Looking for an individual for Delivery Driver and Warehouse Worker for our cabinet shop. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, hard-working, a team player and takes pride in their work! Duties will be occasional deliveries in box truck, clean up, packaging finished product for shipping, restocking building materials, and being a general helping hand for builders and machine operators. Job responsibilities may grow after time. Forklift experience required and must have the physical ability lift heavy objects. Requirements • Ability to handle and work with various types of metals and alloys, including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and others, understanding their properties and characteristics for fabrication and welding. • Experience in conducting visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welded joints to ensure weld quality, detect defects, and comply with welding standards and specifications. • Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines for welding operations, including proper handling of welding equipment, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various positions and environments, often in confined spaces or at heights. Education and Experience •A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing environment •Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA, etc.) •Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.) •Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) Must have own face-shield. •Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs •Professional Certification (i.e., an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus
