A metals distributor in the San Diego area has an opening for a full-time Saw Operator & Inspector to work 40 hours a week Monday-Friday (7:30 am to 4:00 pm) & available to work OT as needed. This is a temp-to-hire position, to ensure that you are a good fit for our company and that we are a good fit for you. This individual will be assisting warehouse team to inspect materials, cut metals to size, and final inspect parts. Must also assist with keeping saws, equipment, and warehouse clean, and returning unused materials to stock. JOB DUTIES: • Deburr precision aluminum parts and brazed assemblies. • Inspect parts to ensure compliance to drawing. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to use hand tools such as files, counter sinks, burr knife sandpaper, buffing wheels, die grinders, jitterbug sanders and other hand tools as necessary. • Must be able to read and understand shop travelers and drawings. • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. • Meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.  Must be able to obtain a security clearance to perform all duties associated with this position.
