Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Cut, fit, weld, and grind and prep various aluminum parts to match plans, using bandsaws, drills, milling machines and hand tools • TIG welding of aluminum sheet metal, pipe and bar stock to meet quality standards • Make weekly deliveries and material pickups, using Company vehicle • Read and interpret plans and technical drawings. Manage workload to meet shipping schedules. • Daily responsibilities vary: Welding approx. 20-40% of the time, general fabrication 40-60%, and 20-40% of the time performing a variety of other tasks as needed Required qualifications: • TIG welding aluminum experience (Weld Test required), with industry or vocational school experience. Certifications preferred, but not required. • Clean driving record (no DWIs or excessive tickets) • Commitment to details, with solid math, mechanical and technical skills • Flexible personality, eager to learn new skills, and contribute to the growth of the company. Job Summary: Responsible for custom electronic installation of customer’s trucks.
