Metal Fabricator and TIG welder (Everett)

Metal Fabricator and TIG welder We are the industry originator and innovator of superior family recreation products, and are looking for someone who can bring a wide range of metal manufacturing experience to our small dedicated manufacturing shop. This is a rare opportunity to join our dedicated team of long-term employees, averaging over 5 years tenure with our company.. Full-Time, $28-30/hr DOE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Cut, fit, weld, and grind and prep various aluminum components to match plans, using bandsaws, drills, milling machines and hand tools • TIG welding of aluminum sheet metal, pipe and bar stock to meet quality standards for appearance and consistency • Make weekly deliveries and material pickups, using Company vehicle • Read and interpret plans and technical drawings • Organize weekly production and complete assigned work on time • Welding approx. 20-40% of the time, general fabrication 40-60% of the time, and 20-40% of the time performing a variety of other responsibilities, including making deliveries/receiving/shipping and assisting other company divisions when needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • TIG welding aluminum experience (Weld Test required), such as industry or vocational school experience. Certifications preferred, but not required. • Clean driving record (no DWIs or excessive tickets) • Commitment to details, with solid math, mechanical and technical skills • Flexible personality, eager to learn new skills, and contribute to the growth of the company. Eagar to assist other divisions such as shipping and plastic fabrication as required • Forklift and hand truck operating experience • Ability to stand for long periods, lifting parts to 50#, and operating forklift, truck and other machinery • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
