About the Position Perform preventative and routine maintenance on both gas and propane forklifts, loaders, and other various equipment Recognize, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical defects Conduct safety inspections of equipment and maintain maintenance records Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations There is occasional heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold environments Work may consist of various shifts, with overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy production times Qualifications Working knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines, equipment hydraulics, and electrical systems preferred Preference given to applicants with fabrication and metal work experience Proven prior experience working on various machines including the above-mentioned equipment All applicants must be at least 18 years of age Why Join Our Team? In this role, you will primarily be troubleshooting and resolving failures in Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs), ensuring our products meet the highest quality and reliability standards. This position requires a solid understanding of electronics, strong analytical and diagnostic skills, and a meticulous attention to detail. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams, supporting continuous improvement efforts in our Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) test and debug processes. KEY SUCESS FACTORS: 1 Month Goals: o Complete all company training o Gain familiarity with Qualitel’s internal software tools and systems o Demonstrate proficiency using basic test equipment (DMMs, o-scopes, power supplies) o Identify and troubleshoot basic manufacturing errors (e.g., solder bridges, backwards/missing components) 3 Month Goals: o Independently perform functional testing and initial troubleshooting on assigned PCBAs o Accurately document failures and root causes in accordance with company procedures o Begin interpreting schematics and test documents to troubleshoot to component level 6 Month Goals: o Routinely troubleshoot complex PCBA failures down to the component level o Act as a resource for newer technicians; provide informal guidance or peer training o Identify and recommend process or documentation improvements to enhance yield and efficiency o Take ownership of select product lines or test areas; drive quality and throughput PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  Perform functional testing and debug of PCBAs using standard electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, Automated Test Equipment, etc.).  Troubleshoot failed PCBAs and identify manufacturing defects such as shorts, opens, missing or reversed components.  Interpret schematics, drawings, and test documentation to isolate and resolve issues down to the component level.  Maintain detailed failure documentation and test records for traceability and process improvement.  Support production, quality, and engineering teams by providing feedback on test results and recurring failure trends.  Participate in test development and continuous improvement initiatives.  Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and within established labor standards. Communicate effectively with other technicians, supervisors, and management.
