Position: Machine Shop General CNC Trainee Location: Temecula Shift: Day Position type: Full Salary: $19.50/Hr Starting: Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance Benefits, 7 Paid Holidays, Paid Vacation, and Sick Pay. Our company is a mid-sized job shop that manufactures tight tolerance components for multiple local industries. We are looking for a self-motivated individual that has good programming and machining discipline, and experience with tight tolerance machining to work in our clean, friendly environment. Must be able to work in a team environment. Job Description  Responsible for the programming, verification and proofing of CNC Mill/Lathe machined parts utilizing Mastercam 24/25 CAD/CAM software. Must be at or above intermediate level on 4th and preferably 5th axis programming and clearly able to articulate the planning steps required for successful execution of new jobs.  Setup/Run new prototype jobs, preparing instructions for future production runs.  Thorough knowledge of CNC Machining and Programming. Must be proficient in set-up and operation of vertical machining centers (Haas and Fadal VMC's) and CNC lathes.  Solid understanding of the appropriate use of diverse types of tooling for efficient and cost-effective machining.  Develop setup instructions, tooling documentation, and required graphics to current in-house procedures. Support standard post processor development. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel capability a plus.  Modify and troubleshoot running programs on machines to support production requirements.  Estimate labor and materials in support of our Bid and Proposal efforts, when required.  Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T (ANSI Y14.5M). Intermediate level Quality Inspection capability.  10 years minimum production machining experience and 5 years minimum programming experience.
