Description

Job description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in construction engineering, metalwork, and glass systems to lead complex architectural metal projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of industry experience managing large-scale construction projects, overseeing teams, coordinating with contractors, and delivering projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple signage, architectural metal, and glass system projects from planning through installation. Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious project execution. Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to align project designs with specifications. Oversee procurement of materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and glass components. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, maintain quality control, and resolve challenges. Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and reports, and provide updates to senior management. Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and client expectations. Act as liaison between the Colombia office and US headquarters to align on goals, timelines, and resource allocation. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience in construction, specifically with metal fabrication and glass systems. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale construction projects with hands-on knowledge of installation processes and materials. Strong understanding of metal and glass fabrication, installation, and quality standards. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail. Preferred Skills Experience in the signage industry or architectural metalwork is a plus. PMP certification or similar project management qualifications is an advantage.
