The person in this position will be working in our bar shop to build new and rework used chainsaw bars. This is not the typical loading and unloading automated machinery. Somone who is interested in learning new, unique skills and metal working would fit well in this role. Responsibilities: Manually manipulate heavy steel bars on and around machinery for the majority of the shift. This involves using various tools such as angle grinders, belt grinders, anvils, hammers and more. Qualifications: Physically able to perform demanding responsibilities. Attention to detail with good eyesight. Good verbal communication skills to follow multi-step verbal instructions. 3+ years of work experience (in any job or military position). Ability to read a tape measure. Reliable transportation. Be able to pass an illegal drug screen. We are currently looking for a talented Maintenance Mechanical Technician to join our day shift Maintenance team. Responsibilities would include performing maintenance on a variety of production machinery and facilities and electrical wiring and trouble shooting. Must have strong Mechanical and Electrical skills. This shift a 5 x 8 Monday-Friday days with one mid-week day off. Rotating Saturday or Sunday. Hours are 5:00a - 2:00p+. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Install, assemble and test new and existing production machinery and equipment; understand and comply with workplace safety regulations. Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate. Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery. Usage a CMMS to schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment. Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner. Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions. Maintain machinery and the adjacent workplace in a state of appropriate cleanliness; maintain a schedule for inspection, service and testing of machinery.
