Description

About the Role: Swimwear Anywhere Inc. is seeking a Facilities Supervisor who is equally comfortable managing vendor relationships as performing hands-on maintenance tasks. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our facilities, with a primary focus on addressing and resolving maintenance and repair needs. The Facilities Supervisor will serve as the main point of contact for all facility-related matters, from overseeing building compliance and coordinating vendor contracts to supporting additional needs such as event setups, seasonal projects, and general organization. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that requires a proactive, self-starting, and resourceful individual who takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and welcoming work environments. What You’ll Do: Handle day-to-day repairs and upkeep across both buildings (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, furniture, fixtures, etc.) Set up, move, and arrange office furniture, supplies, and event equipment. Take on small projects yourself, while coordinating outside vendors for bigger jobs. Source, hire, and manage service providers (cleaning crews, landscapers, security, repair technicians, etc.). Make sure jobs get done properly, on time, and within budget. Keep both facilities up to code with safety, fire, and health regulations. Conduct regular walk-throughs to make sure everything is safe and secure. Support emergency preparedness (exits clear, procedures in place, drills as needed). Order and track building supplies, tools, and equipment. Keep an organized inventory so things are on hand when needed. Supervise and support one additional facilities staff member. Pitch in together on larger projects or day-to-day tasks. Step in wherever needed — whether that’s conducting shuttle service, meeting and event setup and breakdown, fixing a lock, or moving boxes. What We’re Looking For: Experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a related trade (5+ years preferred). Hands-on skills with tools, repairs, and general handyman tasks. Comfortable working with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Able to prioritize tasks and stay organized across all facilities. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle active, on-your-feet work. Flexible schedule — occasional evenings or weekends for urgent issues or special events.
