Carpenter (Strasburg)

Leiden Cabinet Company is searching for experienced Builders/Woodworkers (minimum 1 year) who will be responsible for the complete assembly of a variety of custom fixtures, casework, commercial cabinetry, and millwork. This is a full-time position with occasional overtime. Job Duties: Assemble custom cabinetry for national retail, hotel, hospitality industries, and other commercial enterprises Study and apply specifications in blueprints and/or shop drawing software to assemble finished products Adjust, fit and align component parts to very close tolerances and strict inspection standards; test/inspect assembled units and ensure accuracy and quality of work Meet or exceed company operational standards regarding productivity, job costing and labor standards Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment Complete other assignments, as requested by management Job Requirements Prior experience (minimum 1 year) in building or assembling commercial cabinetry, casework, or millwork Skilled with various woodworking machines; including table saw and chop saw Able to read, comprehend, and apply blueprint and generated shop drawings Possessed basic math skills Skilled with common hand tools and power tools Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and other insurance eligible after 60/90 days Generous 401(k) Company Matching Benefit & Immediate Vesting Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance Company provided Life Insurance Generous Time Off and (9) Paid Holidays Company & Individual Performance Bonuses About Leiden Leiden is a store fixture manufacturing company with 80 over years under our belt.
