CNC Operator/Draftsperson Display and wood cabinetry interior manufacturing company seeking motivated and responsible individual to perform shop duties, with partial responsibility to help run our 3-axis CNC machine and assist with our drafting department. Must be able to cross over in both the CNC area and The Drafting dept. Candidate must be flexible and have some experience in setting up and running a CNC router and cabinet making experience. Materials used will have a wide range; from MDF and plywood to plastics and aluminum. Must be experienced n CAD and CAM software, 3D rendering. Experience in creating CNC DXF files is a plus. Candidate must: - Be able to read shop drawings - Understand CNC tooling and make necessary adjustments for proper cutting. - Have a basic understanding of Autocad (be able to pull measurements and create basic objects.) - Experience with Rhinoceros is a plus -be skilled in drafting decorative patterns, understanding materials and engineering. -have daily interaction with the production team - intricate millwork and heavily sculpted three-dimensional elements for production, - great team working skills requested. Candidate must be familiar with materials such as solid wood, plywood, plastic, metal fabrication and veneer work. Screen printing/screen making facility located in Santa Rosa (north bay) is looking for a local, RELIABLE, and motivated individual to become one of our shop's press operator and general helper. Experience in screen printing in general is A MUST. However, we are willing to train will the right candidate as long as that person has an understanding of screen printing and some hands on experience in the field, a good disposition, is a quick learner, and is here everyday ready to work. Note that is a manufacturing place with deadlines & production goals to meet, not a space to start a hobby or hang out. Be advised that this is a full time on site position. Skills needed: Actually Showing up, being on time, and following a set job schedule Willingness & ability to learn all aspects of screen printing, pad printing, and screen making. Willing to take on different tasks/constant changes in work flow as needed to keep production moving Must be able to lift 50 lbs & reach/bend down Must be ok working with solvents, inks, pressure washers and an overall noisy manufacturing environment. Must be able to stand and walk for most of the work day Full command of the English language both written and spoken is a must.
