Role Description The Associate, Innovation Sourcing will play a key supporting role on the Procurement team, helping identify, evaluate, and manage new and existing ingredient suppliers for innovation. Reporting to the Sourcing Manager, Innovation, this role will support ingredient and supplier research, communication, and coordination across projects that contribute to the company’s product development and innovation pipeline. In this position, you’ll: Conduct research to identify new ingredient opportunities aligned with our brand’s mission Evaluate supplier information across quality, certifications, cost, and sustainability considerations Coordinate communications with new and existing suppliers under guidance from the Sourcing Manager Help manage timelines and documentation related to sourcing innovation projects Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Innovation, and Procurement teams Track and manage multiple sourcing initiatives in parallel with minimal oversight Participate in developing sourcing strategies and identifying opportunities for efficiency or innovation Perform other projects as assigned. Responsibilities Prepare shift reports as directed by the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Perform line inspections and raw material verifications prior to production beginning after a changeover or at the start of production for the week. Validate sanitation effectiveness and complete Post-OP or Pre-OP sanitation inspection report. Constantly inspect product as it is being produced to ensure it meets the benchmark standard and customer expectations and stop production immediately if out of tolerance deviation occurs. Verify all on line inspection sheets and production documents prior to and during production. Sign off on all changeover check sheets as quickly as possible to verify all details are correct or to minimize the amount of product to be put on hold. Place all out of specification products and/or raw materials on hold using an orange QC Hold tag. Conduct and report daily GMP audits and corrective measures on designated shift. Perform a walkthrough with the shift supervisor at least once per week. Assist in maintaining retained production samples for each product produced. As needed, assist with training of new employees and refresher training of existing employees in GMP, HACCP and other certifications as needed. As needed, assist with customer complaints investigations. As needed, assist with sample preparation and shipping. As needed, assist in keeping Process Sheets up to date with production notes and speeds. As needed, assist with required Quality Assurance reports. As needed, conduct taste tests to ensure production run matches previous runs/samples. As needed, assist with R/D tasks and production sample runs/trials and report. The Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations within their respective areas. They will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, optimizing workflow, and leading a production team to meet company goals efficiently and safely. This position reports to the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Enforce strict safety guidelines and ensure all required inspections are completed. Maintains product quality by ensuring Work Instructions and Procedures are up to date and followed. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems as they arise. Ensures proper operation of equipment balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
