Mullins Cheese is seeking a self- motivated, team- oriented, eager to work individual to work in our Retail Store. Mullins Cheese is based upon growth and advancement, and as a Mullins Cheese employee you have opportunities to grow and advance throughout the company. Mullins Cheese is a family owned and operated company and is collaborative with employees. This position has a variety of work between our retail store and the packaging department, packaging fresh cheese and other products for the Mullins Cheese retail store. Duties include customer service, stocking, packaging, and food preparation.Responsibilities include operating packaging machines and equipment ranging from sorting, packaging, labeling, & pricing machines for cheese and whey products. A variety of responsibilities and duties allow for a lack of monotony. Essential Job Functions: Assembling bulk orders for customers and patron orders. Assist with special customer orders and requests Monitor and control production machinery Fill out proper documentation in accordance to customer specification and government agencies Aid other employees to maintain a safe process and quality product Follow Safety Procedures Maintain clean work environment Requirements Schedule Requirements Hours are only between 7am-5:30pm. Normal: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Scheduled 5 days a week Start times/End times vary but only between the hours of 7am-5:30pm Physical Requirements This position requires the following frequent actions and/or conditions: Twisting, bending, and squatting with 50lb object in hand Long Periods of Standing and Walking Good finger/hand/multi-limb dexterity Minimum Qualifications Willing and able to perform all job essential functions with or without accommodation Willing and able to be exposed to/perform all physical and environmental factors Preferred Qualifications Willing and able to perform all job essential functions with or without accommodation Willing and able to be exposed to/perform all physical and environmental factors Retail Experience Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: 1-3 years in a packaging production position Benefits Wage Starting pay is $16.50 per hour or more depending on experience Sunday pay of 1.5x/per hours Saturday shift premium of $3/hr.
