The Job We’re looking for a Sales Engineer, a key part of our Sales process to join our Chicago office. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities to achieve individual sales objectives by performing the following duties: Proactively build and develop a strong customer network to increase sales potential and meet sales goals, own efficacy of the sales process from start to finish and with a sense of urgency, and Utilize CRM in HubSpot to track and move business through the pipeline and sales process for accurate forecasting. This position has a first-year base salary of $100,000 and an expected first-year OTE of $120,000 - $180,000. Second-year OTE is $200k+ with continued growth from there. This position include regular nationwide travel to customer facilities. This is an in-person role out of our Downtown Chicago office. The Duties •    Generate new business and leads on an ongoing basis.  •    Quote prices, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.  •    Work with customers to create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.  •    Work to find new sales leads through business directories, client referrals, etc.  •    Collects sales data to track effectiveness of outreach efforts and changes approach to improve results. •    Respond to current and prospective client about products, installation, pricing, and lead times in a manner that adheres to sales practices and supports clear communication. •    Understand and communicate incentive programs/offerings to customers, when appropriate.  •    Prepare reports of business transactions and keep manage account. •    Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM database.  Requirements •    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  •    Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. •    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. •    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education & Experience Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two plus years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A proven track record of strong sales experience is required, preferably in a B2B environment. Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations A valid, insurable driver's license is required. World Central Kitchen (WCK) is seeking a strategic and motivated Development Corps Manager to launch and lead a new global volunteer fundraising initiative. Through this program, WCK will recruit and train Development Community Corps ambassadors, a dedicated group of volunteers who act as local champions for our mission. These ambassadors will raise funds, engage their communities, and extend WCK’s reach globally. The Manager will build the infrastructure to educate, equip, and support ambassadors with the resources they need to succeed. This includes year-round engagement and rapid activation during times of crisis. Laboratory Registration Technician
This role will ensure patient demographic, insurance and diagnosis information is correctly entered into CDR registration systems to ensure billing ins accurate and results are provided to the ordering provider. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Interprets, orders, and generates barcode labels from the Lab LIS system and applies labels to appropriate specimen tubes and collection containers. Must be able to interpret many different physician orders and requests and select the appropriate orderable code in the Lab LIS system. Removes biological specimens from biohazard bags including blood, urine, bone marrow, body fluids, and tissue specimens. Understand all different types of collection media, preservatives, and risks of exposure to infectious agents. Handles both infectious A and B substances with appropriate CDC, and IDPH guidelines. Ability to determine if specimen was collected in appropriate collection container and media. Understands steps to resolve collection issues to ensure patient testing is performed or recollected. Receives all calls arriving in the laboratory from providers, clients, nurses, management, and patients. Logs calls in tracking software, answers all questions pertaining to phlebotomy draws, specimen collection, transport of specimens, provides lab results, supply requests, forensic autopsy cases, and administrative questions. Escalates callers to management or technical departments when necessary if unable to resolve all question Correctly enters outpatient and non-patient demographic, insurance, and diagnosis information into the hospital registration system, answering all questions in each field and updating any information that is not current. Recognizes valid diagnosis codes and follows appropriate resolution on any noncompliant codes. Inputs all faxed orders into the lab orders database, questioning any illegible order, calls physician's office with clarification of test order and patient demographics and order request (standing or one time). Follows all instructions on provider order including, add on testing and testing cancelations. Contribute to departmental operations by performing other related duties as may be required and/or assigned. Maintains and scans patient records according to government regulations and accreditation guidelines. Ensures that professional and personal activities conform to CDR Laboratories values. Evaluates specimen received verses testing ordered and confirms specimen collection was accurate and specimens are labeled with appropriate patient identifiers. Recognizes critical "stat" specimens compared to routine testing. Understands all aspects of lab safety regarding specimen handling and processing. Embodies the CDR Laboratories Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency.
