Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring for an Corporate Counsel. We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Counsel that thrives in a high volume work environment.  The  Corporate Counsel is responsible for providing legal guidance on Funnel’s products and services to ensure product compliance.  They will be business minded and be able to provide creative solutions to minimize legal risk without hindering the achievement of company goals. They will have experience negotiating a variety of  commercial contracts and be willing to provide a diverse scope of legal support to Funnel as assigned by the General Counsel. They will be able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules and provide excellent customer service. This is a hybrid role, where you will expected to work from the Tampa HQ Office located in Odessa, Florida 1-2 days a week. This position is considered exempt role with a salary range of $95,000 - $125,000. Why Funnel? The Insert Job Title essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Roles and responsibilities Provide legal advice on product development and features Ensure products and features comply with relevant laws and regulations (e.g. privacy, consumer protection, fair housing, residential real estate) Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks associated with product development and launch Provide prompt legal advice and offer appropriate solutions to a wide range of complex legal questions and requests from internal clients across functional groups Ability to work effectively with product, engineering, marketing and other teams Review, draft and negotiate all types of commercial agreements  Review, draft and maintain user-facing legal documents, including Terms of Use, Privacy Notices, Acceptable Use Policies and in-product disclosures Research and keep abreast of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for explaining legal concepts to non-legal teams Collaborate with the broader legal team on commercial, privacy and compliance initiatives Contribute to other Legal team needs, goals and initiatives, as needed. Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-growth, regulated and time-sensitive environment. Ability to work autonomously and proactively Ability to travel 5% of the time Education, Work Experience, and Certifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school  Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida Consumer law experience (e.g. privacy, TCPA, FCRA, Fair Housing)  Contract drafting experience Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical advice Ability to anticipate potential legal issues and address them proactively Ability to efficiently utilize outside counsel, as needed in support of maintaining product and company compliance 1-3 years of experience practicing law in a law firm Don't meet every single requirement? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Operations Associate to join our dynamic team.
