Job description Keller Inc. is a Design/Build General Contractor with locations in Kaukauna, Wausau, Germantown and Sun Prairie, WI. Keller is looking to hire Construction Crew Members to help complete the concrete, building erection, and carpentry of our projects in our Kaukauna location. This position includes full time employment, complete with a highly competitive compensation and benefits package in our employee owned Company! Job duties/qualifications: Concrete Setting concrete forms for footings/walls/flatwork Finishing interior and exterior concrete for interior floors, sidewalks, freestall barns, and exterior slabs Building Erection Performing building erection of our pre-engineered and wood framed buildings Install roofing, siding, insulation, and flashing Carpentry Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial and agricultural projects Frame interior walls, install trim and door frames All roles Detailed workmanship Ownership mentality Efficiently work in a fast paced environment Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions. Check out our web page https://www.inproduction.com/ As a Professional Sports Scaffolding Laborer at InProduction, here is what you can expect: Daily Routine of scaffolding structures at some fascinating professional venues like football and soccer stadiums, baseball fields, tennis courts, golf courses, hockey rinks, and racetracks for example. You can expect to see much of the work we completed while watching a game or event on tv. Crews which you will be assigned to will be no more than 5 employees and will travel from job to job together as a crew. Full Time, Consistent and Year-Round Work without having to wonder when or if the next assignment is coming. Work Environment is generally outdoors so you will be in the sun and fresh air while building. Overnight Travel will be the routine and you can be away from home for 90+ days at a time. Travel Accommodations and hotel lodging will be arranged and provided by InProduction. We stay two crew members to a room. Hotel rooms will usually have small kitchens so you can prepare meals. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Build and breakdown scaffolds, install ladders, walkways and handrails Assist in the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment in accordance with project specific plans and layouts Inspecting all scaffold components prior to assembly Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and materials Load and unload equipment and materials form truck and vehicles Study plans and equipment lists prior to on-site installation Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed; including wearing and use of safety equipment Maintain fall protection requirements while erecting / dismantling scaffolds Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift Ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedules Other duties as required Requirements Background Check and Drug screening required Valid driver's license preferred, with good driving record. Familiar with basic hand tools, drills, saws, hammers, etc. Cannot be afraid of heights Creative problem solver with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work both independently and within a team setting to achieve company goals Able to lift-up to 75Ibs Candidate should be able read and understand basic safety instructions Candidates from a Scaffolding, Carpentry, Construction, Laboring or Events background are preferred. Assembles scaffolding and seals off work area, using plastic sheeting and duct tape. Positions mobile decontamination unit or portable showers at entrance of work area. Positions portable air evacuation and filtration system inside work area. Cuts and scrapes asbestos, mold or paint from surfaces, using knife and scraper. Assists in demolition and deconstruction activities of buildings Shovels asbestos, mold or paint into plastic disposal bags and seals bags, using duct tape. Cleans work area of loose asbestos, mold or paint, using vacuum, broom, and dustpan. Places asbestos, mold or paint in disposal bags and seals bags, using duct tape, loads bags into truck. Cleans and maintains tools, sampling equipment and lab equipment. Responsible for keeping site and grounds clean and neat. Performs daily equipment checks. Picks up necessary supplies and tools from warehouse as directed. Loads and unloads scrap materials into trucks and roll off boxes. Performs work safely in accordance with departmental safety procedures and operates equipment safely. Reports any unsafe work condition or practice to supervisor. Performs other related and non-related duties as assigned Must always be clean shaven to allow immediate donning and seal of respirator. Requirements Successful work experience in asbestos, remediation, and general construction. Remediation training and/or certification preferred. Must be willing and able to work a VARIABLE SCHEDULE, including overtime, night, and weekend hours. Willing to travel. MUST be able to clear background check processes required to gain access (security clearance) on job sites including military bases, schools, and other public/government facilities.
