You will contribute to projects that are reshaping industries, from harnessing cloud-based supercomputing capabilities to driving key initiatives with major universities that are shaping the future of technology.  The Position: We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with deep experience across the stack and a strong command of modern frontend frameworks, especially React. In this role, you'll build scalable, high-performance applications and contribute to architectural decisions that shape our platform's future. You'll collaborate closely with product and design, and take ownership of complex engineering challenges from concept through production. What You’ll Do: Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications with a strong emphasis on the frontend Lead development of React-based UIs, with thoughtful component architecture and performance optimizations Develop and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and data models Architect scalable systems and contribute to high-level design and planning Drive code quality, testing, and engineering best practices across the team Collaborate across functions to deliver end-to-end product features Mentor junior engineers and support peer learning Requirements 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building complex, scalable applications Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, including state management and component architecture Experience with Node.js, Java, or another backend language (Java preferred) Solid understanding of database design, with experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and modern system design patterns Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines Ability to write clean, well-tested, maintainable code across the stack Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Preferred Skills: Experience with GraphQL or WebSockets Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) Previous experience working in high-growth or startup environments Benefits Compensation The base pay for this position is $190,000. A bonus will be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Position Location The location preference for this position is Santa Monica, CA. Consideration for a different working location will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
