The Role This is an opportunity to join a small, fast-paced team creating a new category within the world of AI. As we scale, we’re looking for a People & Operations Associate to keep our hiring, onboarding, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is a foundational role supporting our team, candidates, and operational backbone.You’ll work directly with the leadership team to manage our people, recruiting admin, and basic operational needs including IT and more. You’ll be responsible for making sure candidates and employees have a great experience—from the first interview to onboarding and beyond. You’ll also help keep our internal tools, processes, and office systems organized and running. Requirements What You’ll Do People & Talent Operations Schedule interviews and follow-ups with candidates Send offer letters, decline emails, and manage candidate communications Confirm compensation, start date, equity, and bonus details with candidates Prepare and send employee contracts, NDAs, and other documents Create, post, and manage job descriptions across platforms Help socialize open roles within our networks Maintain our talent pipeline and applicant tracking system (Workable) Onboard new employees into Gusto, Thatch, Gmail, Slack, and other tools Purchase equipment (laptops, etc.) for new employees Operations & Admin Document processes as we build them (startup environment) Support Accounts Payable/Receivable (invoicing, reimbursements, travel expenses) Assist with basic IT setup (help CEO with iPhone/computer issues as needed) Help keep our internal operations organized and running Other people and operations tasks as needed and requested What We’re Looking For Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive Comfortable handling confidential information Strong communicator with excellent follow-through Tech-savvy and resourceful (we use tools like Workable, Gusto, Slack, Thatch) Willing to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced, scrappy environment Prior experience in operations, recruiting coordination, or HR is a plus, but not required Benefits Compensation & Benefits We are a well-funded, Seed-stage company preparing for launch. Under the direct supervision of the Resource Specialist Supervisor the Resource Specialist is an essential member of the healthcare team. The position is responsible for promoting improved access and care management to meet the needs of patients while helping navigate effectively and efficiently though TVHC and other healthcare systems. About Us: Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center is a non-profit community health center that is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of our community by providing accessible, high-quality care by integrating primary care, dental care, WIC support, mental health counseling, community health education, and more. Compensation: $28.80 - $31.20 per hour, includes 20% differential pay in lieu of benefits. Responsibilities: As part of the core care team, participates in clinic huddles to engage with care team, anticipate clinic and patient care needs, communicate about patient and clinic flow. Accepts warm hand-offs between agencies and coordinates care for patients to facilitate integration of care. Increase the number of under-served adult and senior dental patients by coordinating access for primary care patients without a dental home.
