Location: This position will work in a hybrid model with both work from home (remote) days each Monday & Friday, as well as on-site days at the West Des Moines, IA office each Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Zirous is currently seeking to hire a group of Application Developer Interns who will work on a group focused on the research and development of cutting edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and custom Application Development! The internship will be held May - August 2026. Check out the Zirous Intern Wall of Fame!   What you'd be doing: Research and development of applications to support client projects. Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Play an integral role in the completion of a development-based project. Work on forward-looking experiences tied to extended reality and artificial intelligence (AI). Work closely with other team members to accomplish company, client and personal goals. Assist with client projects. Other duties as assigned. Have the ability to create your career! Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Human Computer Interaction, Integrated Studio Arts, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or in a related field or equivalent work experience. Sound fundamentals of object-oriented programming. Ability to quickly learn and communicate the latest findings in the technology field. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
