Tile Installer – Journeyman

Golden Touch Remodeling LLC Golden Touch Remodeling LLC is seeking a motivated Tile Installer with a solid foundation in tile work and a desire to grow into a highly skilled tradesperson. We specialize in high-end residential remodels and are proud to be featured on this year's Columbia Credit Union Tour of Homes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in tile work who’s looking to take their skills to the next level. You’ll work alongside seasoned professionals, learning advanced techniques and delivering craftsmanship that exceeds homeowner expectations. Responsibilities -Assist with the installation of various tile materials including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone on floors, showers, and backsplashes. -Support surface preparation tasks including leveling, waterproofing, and layout setup. -Cut and fit tiles using hand and power tools under the guidance of senior installers. -Help maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. -Follow project specifications and communicate effectively with team members. -Grow into independently managing layout, installation, grout work, and finishing as skills develop. Ideal Candidate Has -1–3 years of hands-on tile installation or general remodeling experience. -Basic knowledge of tile tools and materials (saws, levels, trowels, etc.). -A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. -Respect for jobsite cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. -A positive, coachable attitude and interest in becoming a master of the trade.
