Position: Porter TA Travel Center is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Porters to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both our customers and employees. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine cleaning tasks in various areas including restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal systems. Assist in minor maintenance tasks and report any significant repairs needed to management. Help set up and tear down for events or meetings when needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting with inquiries as necessary. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle & Lot Management Safely move, park, and position RVs within the dealership lot, service area, and customer pickup zones. Ensure RVs are parked neatly and efficiently to maximize space and accessibility. Deliver RVs to and from service areas, detail bays, and customer pickup locations. Perform basic inspections of RVs before and after movement to check for damage or maintenance needs. Assist in the setup and staging of RVs for display, photography, and special events. Customer & Team Support Assist customers by bringing RVs to designated locations for pickup or test drives. Provide support to the sales and service teams by retrieving or positioning RVs as needed. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and coworkers. General Maintenance & Housekeeping Perform light cleaning and detailing of RVs to keep them showroom-ready. Keep the dealership lot and service areas clean and organized. Assist with snow removal, trash collection, and general facility upkeep as needed. Compliance & Safety Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety protocols when operating RVs. Ensure all keys are securely stored and accounted for. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate a variety of RVs, including motorhomes and towable trailers. Previous experience in a dealership, automotive, or RV industry preferred but not required. Ability to perform basic maintenance and inspections. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active tasks. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow). Ability to safely climb in and out of RVs, including motorhomes and towable trailers. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and reach as needed to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks. Manual dexterity to safely operate RVs, including using steering wheels, brakes, and other controls. As Lead Scenic Installer you’ll be tasked with communicating and building confidence with the onsite client and will represent CommuniLux Production and InProduction onsite. The Lead Scenic installer will also work alongside and direct venue staff, production staff, productions carpenters, and local labor to install equipment provided by CommuniLux and InProduction. As lead scenic installer you will oversee, lead, and manage other CommuniLux installers while onsite. Key Responsibilities: Install, teardown scenery, staging, carpentry, flooring, drape, and other staging elements in various indoor and outdoor venues. Manage, lead, and instruct onsite installation team and local labor to install and strike staging and scenery. Prep, tech and label all scenic pieces at shop prior to shipping with shop staff so you know and understand how scenic parts go together. Work with shop foreman and project manager to understand drawings and contracted deliverables to ensure you know everything that needs to be packed and installed onsite. Safely deliver, unload, and load trucks with staging gear and elements. Read stage layouts, scenic specifications and blueprints. Prep and pack tools and equipment needed for onsite. Develop and check load lists and pull lists with Project Management team. Assemble scenery, walls, SEG frames, staging, and drape using hand and power tools onsite. Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication, accountability, and empowerment. Operate and maintain tools, materials, equipment, and supplies used in technical production. Work with clients, production carpenter, and technical director to build and remodel and scenic elements that need to be modified due to unforeseen issues. Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed; including wearing and use of safety equipment. Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety measures are followed. Ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedules. Keep up with tools and gear onsite and lock up tools at end of day. Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and materials. Other duties as required. Requirements 3-5 years of experience as scenic installer, lead stagehand, or production carpenter. A high school diploma is required. Associates or Technical degree in either Technical Theatre, Construction, or applicable work experience. Up to 75% travel. Occasional international travel. Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 75 pounds. Basic construction skills, carpentry, staging, rigging, and truck loading are essential in this position. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus, but not required. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older. Self-motivated and able to manage time well. Valid United States Driver’s License Preferred. Compensation: Hourly (rate commensurate on experience) Overtime available Hotels, travel, and per diem are paid by InProduction. Qualifications: Proactive approach to problem-solving.
