West Coast Arborists, Inc. is hiring for a small equipment mechanic to work at San Jose yard. JOB DESCRIPTION Repair and maintain company small equipment, including two-stroke engines as needed. WORK HOURS Typically, 6:30a.m. to 4:30p.m., Monday through Friday. Additional overtime hours and Saturday schedules may be required. SALARY RANGE Hourly wage is $25.15 -$38.89 + Fringe Benefits $ 11.72 Total Compensation up to $50.61per hour DOE. Payroll is paid weekly. OTHER COMPENSATION • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance (shared cost 50/50) • Pension/Annuity • Vacation/Holiday Pay • Sick Time • Credit Union • Endy of Year Bonus QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma • Read, speak and write English • Must be physically fit & pass pre-employment physical • Must pass company driving test • Ability to work in adverse conditions • Reliable transportation REGULAR JOB DUTIES • Repair and maintain small equipment, such as chainsaws, weed eaters, blowers, hedge trimmers, etc. • Be familiar with Stihl and Husqvarna products and proper usage of gas and saw oil mix. • Be organized with distribution, issuance, inventory and return of said company assets/equipment. • Maintain inventory list of small engine parts. • Perform other duties as requested.
