I’m looking for a careful, reliable art and photography assistant to help with projects in my San Jose studio. This role is open to students or early-career assistants eager to gain experience, as well as professionals with prior art/photography work. What you’ll do: • Photograph and catalogue artworks (paintings, prints, photos). • Help organize digital files and prepare online listings (Shopify, Saatchi, etc.). • Assist with light studio organization and project prep. • Handle artworks with care and precision. Who you are: • Background in art and/or photography (student training, freelance, or professional). • Awareness of the art world and its “ins and outs” is very helpful. • Precise, neat, and detail-oriented. • Affable, reliable, and easy to work with. Details: • Location: San Jose, CA • Initial project: 4–6 hours of work, with potential for ongoing support. • Compensation: Based on experience (fair rate for students / professional rates for experienced assistants). Knowledge of Mitchell and other estimating platforms a plus. Qualifications: *Must have knowledge to blueprint vehicles. *Ability to create, implement and manage quality repair plans, including ECDs. *Ability to work in a fast and high production environment. *Ability to build and lead teams to achieve location goals and targets. *Experience to performance manage teammates to create a career path and professional growth. *I-CAR and/or ASE a plus *Must be eligible to work in the U.S. *Must have a valid driving license. *Must agree to and pass a thorough background check.
