Here's what you will receive: Pay rate: $30-$32.69/hr Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Industrial Quality Inspector ensures the compliance of products and parts delivered by the facilities. She/he performs inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on maintenance and operation services, and on products during their manufacturing process. S/he validates industrial services control plans. These control plans are written in close relationship with PME (Process & Manufacturing Engineering) teams. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The Industrial Quality Inspector assists in developing and implementation of quality management system QMS/ QAPP. Quality Specialist will work to continuously improve the existing quality documentation and performing quality assessments/inspections and audits of other departments and quality processes to ensure that requirements are being implemented and followed. Monitors quality assurance program elements for all Departments of Phoenix Site. Stop production in case of a defect that justifies mandatory rework. Build, implement & regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX of previous project execution. Act as Site contact/Super user of 8D tool and make sure that 8D tool is updated as soon as new information is available. Control the correct calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in the inspections. Participates on a variety of committees as assigned. Provide weekly / Monthly reports as required. Required Skills / Qualifications: Associate's degree, technical major preferred. Must be able to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment. Minimum 7 years quality inspection experience within Maintenance industry. Awareness on processes and services Knowledge of APM 200 system Knowledge of quality tools such as 5-whys, 8D, Checklists, Pareto Analysis and problem solving.
