Looking for an experienced skilled craftsman, proficient in the installation and finishing to join our team. Must know how to level uneven concrete or plywood subfloor, glue down wide plank flooring, read drawings, install boxed floating stairs, work with reactive stains and hard wax oils, color matching is big plus and of course be reliable. We provide paid vacation, steady work flow throughout the Bay Area, opportunity to grow and learn new techniques Work authorization, own transportation, basic power tools and English is required. If you have a journeyman level experience and want to grow and become a skilled craftsmen we’ll be happy welcome you on board as well. Disassemble machinery, replace or fabricate parts, and perform changeovers for different product types. • Perform preventative maintenance and recommend improvements to repairs and schedules. • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, P&ID documents, electrical diagrams, and manuals. • Follow GMPs and Cal/OSHA safety requirements at all times. • Document all work performed and maintenance completed. • Monitor and adjust equipment operation as needed. • Report food safety, food quality, or personnel safety issues immediately. • Perform facility maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, painting, minor construction). • Maintain a clean and organized shop area, tools, and supplies. • Respond promptly to maintenance calls, communicating effectively if unavailable. Qualifications: • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required • Strong math skills (whole numbers, decimals, fractions, KPIs, line speeds) • Effective oral and written communication skills • Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, automation, PLCs, VFDs, I/Os, refrigeration, and steam generation • Ability to read, develop, and alter schematics and equipment drawings • Basic welding and electrical knowledge (terminology, troubleshooting, safe practices) • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Computer literacy: CMMS/work order systems, email, and online communication • Attention to detail and strong safety awareness Food Safety Responsibilities: • Every employee is responsible for food safety • Follow raw and packaging material requirements • Comply with GMPs, hygiene, and food defense procedures • Report food safety and quality problems to authorized personnel (SQF Practitioner, Quality Management, Plant/Production Management, Supervisors) Reporting Structure: • Reports directly to Maintenance Manager 5 to 6 month assignment
