This position is a possible 6 months-year. Qualification Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and Commercial PV Installation settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work on construction sites. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing PV electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. Responsibilities PV Installation. Commercial and Residential Projects. Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Read blueprints and schematics to understand layout and installation requirements. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Work with high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Skills Familiarity with PV Installation-Commercial and Residential. Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively. Previous experience as an commercial electrician is preferred but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues. Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for effective installation and troubleshooting. Ability to lift heavy modules and racking systems. State of Hawaii EJ /ES License Must have OSHA 10 certification. CPR/AED certification Forklift, telehandler and scissor lift certification. Clean Driver's License. Ability to pass a drug test. Mokes Electric LLC will provide online course to receive your Osha 10 certificate. Must have completed the course before any onsite/ field work. Ability to innovate and improve operations and solve complex problems Thrive in a team environment Provide and maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle Hand tools required: Drill, Impact gun, Sockets, Rubber Mallet, Screwdrivers, wire crimps, pry bar. Physical Requirements: Must have full range or mobility in upper and lower body; ability to work in various positions & environments, including, but not limited to, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
