Check out our web page https://www.inproduction.com/ The Lead Scenic Installer is responsible for working with the project managers, installation team, and shop staff to prep, tech, and efficiently and safely install staging, drape, scenery, and light rigging in venues and jobsites around the country.  The Lead Scenic Installer will be assigned to all medium-to-large-scale shows and jobs to manage onsite installation. As Lead Scenic Installer you’ll be tasked with communicating and building confidence with the onsite client and will represent CommuniLux Production and InProduction onsite. The Lead Scenic installer will also work alongside and direct venue staff, production staff, productions carpenters, and local labor to install equipment provided by CommuniLux and InProduction. As lead scenic installer you will oversee, lead, and manage other CommuniLux installers while onsite. Key Responsibilities: Install, teardown scenery, staging, carpentry, flooring, drape, and other staging elements in various indoor and outdoor venues. Manage, lead, and instruct onsite installation team and local labor to install and strike staging and scenery. Prep, tech and label all scenic pieces at shop prior to shipping with shop staff so you know and understand how scenic parts go together. Work with shop foreman and project manager to understand drawings and contracted deliverables to ensure you know everything that needs to be packed and installed onsite. Safely deliver, unload, and load trucks with staging gear and elements. Read stage layouts, scenic specifications and blueprints. Prep and pack tools and equipment needed for onsite. Develop and check load lists and pull lists with Project Management team. Assemble scenery, walls, SEG frames, staging, and drape using hand and power tools onsite. Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication, accountability, and empowerment. Operate and maintain tools, materials, equipment, and supplies used in technical production. Summary: Rainscreen mechanics work with a variety of tools and measuring devices to complete a wide span of work tasks. They work with light-gauge and load-bearing steel framing, mounting brackets, support rails, z-girts, and hat channels to assemble a sub framing system. They are also responsible for installing insulation and flashings within and around the sub framing. Lastly, they install the finish panels (fiber cement, terracotta, metal panel, or glass panel) to the sub framing system and caulk as needed to complete the assembly. Duties and Responsibilities: • Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each project or job site. • Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks. • Ensure regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses and clothing are worn. • Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients. • Install brackets, sub framing, insulation, flashings, trims, and panels. • Measure, cut, or shape framing, insulation, trim, and panels as needed. • Help erect, level, and install sub framing and panels with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes. • Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. • Clean and clear debris, extra materials, and dirt/dust from jobsites.
