***This Experienced Commercial Locksmith position is located in Seattle, Washington*** Overview We’re seeking a highly skilled Commercial Locksmith Technician in Seattle, WA to service commercial properties. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and door hardware, creating and managing master key systems, and operating key machines and related tools. You’ll track jobs using electronic dispatch software and should be comfortable with computers and mobile devices. Experience with a variety of lock systems and strong mechanical aptitude are essential. Simple Master Key Systems, complex Commercial Locksmith Systems as well as keys for major lock manufacturers, including restricted ones. - Commercial Locksmith Technician should be able to pin locks for residential and commercial customers. - Install, inspect and service various types of doors and security hardware and repair and service lock sets. - Our Commercial Locksmith Technician will carry out their work assigned using our Operating Software and track their work electronically through our Dispatch System. QUALIFICATIONS: - Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent - Valid Washington Driver's License - Mechanical aptitude and ability to use the necessary tools - Must be able to keep a track record of master keying procedures, and keep record of keys - Computer skill. Due to the nature of this work, applicants must have a satisfactory knowledge of computer and ability to navigate electronic devices. - Good written and oral communications skills to be able to relate information to those concerned - Professionalism and excellent customer service skills being professional in dealing with customers. - Highly Qualified: Experience and knowledge of different locks and security systems, and the ability to change, repair, maintain, copy, and cut keys. - Preferred: Strong analytical skills to help analyze and troubleshoot lock related issues - Preferred: Ability to effectively coach individuals on how to use and maintain their system - Preferred: Efficiency in interpreting, implementing, and maintaining predefined master key systems Background and Drug Test Before Employment (Your Past Is Not Automatic Denial of Employment) Equal Opportunity Employer We look forward to hearing from you. Repair and maintain equipment and facilities for the mine. This includes, but is not limited to, electrical, hoses and oil leaks, welding, air conditioning, field oiler, and other mechanical work, depending on experience. Specific responsibilities may include: Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and haul trucks to keep them in top shape. Computer diagnostics. Welding. Maintain mine equipment. Field oiler/lube technician. Inspect mine equipment before start up. Operate all equipment in a safe manner to keep unnecessary maintenance problems to a minimum. Communicate with all employees about unsafe conditions and/or maintenance needed, pass down instructions to the next mechanic and/or supervisor at shift change. Maintain a safe, clean, environmentally sound work area for all employees. Complete pre/post shift inspections, fuel equipment, perform PMs and operate equipment proficiently.
