Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Carpenters for an immediate start in Cedar Rapids, IA! FULL-TIME -- WEEKLY PAY! PAY: $23-$30/hour (based upon experience) HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40-45 hours/week) SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 4:00pm START DATE: ASAP DURATION: Temp-to-hire About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The primary responsibility will be hanging hollow metal doors and installing associated hardware. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and hands-on carpentry skills to ensure proper fit and function of all installations. Responsibilities: --Hang hollow metal doors accurately and efficiently --Install door hardware such as hinges, locks, handles, and closers --Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards --Use hand and power tools safely and effectively --Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and instructions --Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time Qualifications: --Proven experience in carpentry, specifically door and hardware installation --Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications --Skilled with carpentry tools and equipment --Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship --Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented Additional Requirements: --Must be eligible to work in the United States --Must have reliable transportation to the job site --Pre-employment background check is required WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER!
