Journeyman CMU Block Mason – $40/hr | Short-Term Contract | San Jose, CA Construction team is seeking a skilled Journeyman CMU Block Mason for a 2–3 week contract on a park/playground project in San Jose, California. This is a hands-on role requiring precision masonry work and coordination with other trades. Position Overview: You’ll be working on CMU block wall installations with tight tolerances and small openings, including doors and windows. The project involves building up to 9 feet high with multiple grout lifts and supervising support laborers on-site. We are a telecom construction company based out of CA, OR, and WA looking for an experienced Directional Drill Locator/Operator/Laborer to join our team in Portland. This role is responsible for guiding horizontal directional drilling operations for the installation of underground conduit and utilities. Must be able to use locating equipment to track the drill head, maintain bore profile plots, and help plan safe drill paths around existing infrastructure. We're looking for someone who takes safety seriously, communicates well in the field, and enjoys hands-on work with a crew that works hard and respects each other. This position requires prior experience with HDD locating systems and a solid understanding of ground conditions, tolerances, and safe worksite operations. A valid driver’s license is required.
