Description: We are looking for an experienced Handyman or Construction Technician to inspect and provide a detailed assessment of metal floor grates at our Jackson Truck Rental location in Grand Rapids, MI. Several new floor grates have recently been installed over canal/drain areas, but due to differences in thickness or alignment, they are not level with the older grates. This project will require a thorough on-site inspection and a written report with recommendations. Scope of Work: Inspect and count all floor grates (both new and existing). Take accurate measurements (Length, Width, and Thickness) for each grate. Calculate the total area covered by the grates – list old and new separately. Assess and recommend the best method to fix/adjust grates for a level, safe surface for vehicles and pedestrians. Identify if clean-up or pressure washing is needed around the grates. Requirements: Experience with metal grate installation, adjustment, or similar construction work. Ability to provide a clear, detailed written report (with measurements & recommendations). Bring necessary tools for inspection and measurement. Must be reliable and punctual.
