Responsibilities Participate in training sessions to enhance proficiency in utilizing advanced accounting software and tools effectively. Collaborate with experienced professionals to conduct tax compliance tasks. Engage in diverse client assignments, research projects, and shadowing opportunities to deepen your understanding of the industry. Work closely with team members across all levels, gaining insights into tax practices. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and contribute to comprehensive reports. Assist in preparing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Acquire in-depth knowledge of industry regulations and accounting standards pertinent to the field. Embrace a culture of continuous learning and professional development, actively seeking feedback to improve skills. Requirements Current college junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Eager to participate in a winter internship from mid-January through mid-April with the ability to commit to three full days per week, from 9am-5pm. Keen interest in contributing to the success of a medium-sized firm. Proficiency in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
