Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a school-based Mental Health Therapist / MHT! *** Compensation for a PA licensed Mental Health Therapist (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) is $70 per hour *** 7.5 paid hours per day following the academic calendar year Great opportunity for recent retirees, or those looking for supplemental income The Mental Health Therapist will be school-based at educational entities throughout Chester County, PA CURRENT PRIORITY NEEDS: Coatesville Area School District Chester County Learning Center Octorara Elementary School RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitating and providing direct therapeutic interventions consisting of group and individual therapy, treatment planning, designing and implementing effective interventions and strategies to promote therapeutic recovery Completing required documentation such as treatment and discharge plans, psycho-social history, daily progress notes, insurance forms Maintain close communication with the student's guardians to monitor and promote progress Requirements EDUCATION / EXEPRIENCE: PA licensed mental health professional required (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) A Master's Degree and at least one year experience in a CASSP system, school, or employed by a licensed mental health services agency or subcontracted agency required Documented training and experience in positive behavior supports, team coordination, agency collaboration, applied and cognitive behavioral counseling CREDENTIALS: (Clearances current within 12 months) PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance PA Department of Education FBI -- Use code 1KG6XN TB Screening -- current within 3 months Education Documentation - diploma OR official transcripts from graduate program Professional Liability Insurance Active license through the PA Board of Medicine in one of the following areas: LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC Benefits The school-based Mental Health Therapist / MHT is an independent contract (1099) positions. This role involves direct communication with clients, staff, and external vendors, while ensuring that administrative and compliance tasks are completed in a timely, organized, and professional manner. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-4pm (40h) Pay Rate: $20 an hour Key Responsibilities Register new individuals seeking services into the electronic health record system. Coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries, purchases, and maintenance. Schedule meetings and appointments with internal departments and external contacts. Take and distribute meeting minutes as needed. Verify insurance eligibility using online and telephone systems. Prepare, enter, and submit billing data accurately and on time. Act as a liaison between departments and administrative professionals. Provide administrative training and support to supervisors and staff. Compile reports, make copies, and manage physical and digital data. Scan and upload documentation to electronic systems in a timely manner. Ensure all administrative documentation meets regulatory standards and deadlines. Collaborate with the Program Director and Fiscal Department to manage third-party billing, coding, and documentation. Work effectively with members of the interdisciplinary team. Actively participate in agency licensing and accreditation processes.
