On-Call IT Field Technician – PC, Mac, Printer & Scanner Support 📍 Location: Multiple U.S. Cities (Local, Onsite Support) 💼 Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099) 💰 Pay: $40–$45/hour (on-site) + mileage reimbursement over 20 miles one way 🗓 Schedule: Flexible – You accept jobs based on your availability ⚠️ Important Note This is an on-call, 1099 independent contractor role with no guaranteed hours. We’re expanding our network of skilled on-call technicians to meet growing demand for in-person support — including computers, networks, printers, and more. About the Role We’re hiring field IT technicians who can confidently support a wide range of tech needs for residential and small business customers. This includes troubleshooting PCs and Macs, resolving network issues, and repairing or configuring printers/scanners — including issues like Canon MF printer network setup or G-series ink absorber error codes (e.g., 1700). You’ll be dispatched to customer sites, work independently, and complete service calls efficiently and professionally. This position mirrors the responsibilities of the GSA Lead, with an additional focus on safety, security, and emergency response functions. The GSSA will act as a front-line leader for the Guest Services Associates team and serve as a key liaison between departments to support smooth daily operations. Responsibilities and Initiatives Guest Experience & Team Leadership Collaborate with the Operations Manager to schedule Guest Services Associates to ensure adequate shift coverage.
