Delaware Nation Industries is seeking an experience Senior Data Analyst to support the Air National Guard Plans, Programs and Requirements Directorate (NGB A5/8). The Air National Guard strategic planning processes enable a Guard force that is capable and sustainable as a cost-effective element of national security. Plan and execute procedures for requesting, review, acceptance, storage, retrieval, updating and dissemination of cost, programmatic and technical data. Perform a broad range of operations research analysis functions to examine unique problems through creativity, innovative techniques, advance approaches, and/or new technologies. Provide data science and analytics expertise, advisory support and assistance to Air National Guard programs, projects, and operations. Attend meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars. Maintain proficiency through participation in technical and professional societies, associations, academia, symposia, research, and training. Research, write and present complex data analysis results in an understandable format for senior leaders and decision makers. Technical data visualization products may be in the form of reports, informational graphics, and/or briefings. Inform Air National Guard studies, analysis, and lessons learned. Requirements Secret Security Clearance. Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Math, or Economics.. Experience working in the Department of Defense environment, preferably the Air Force or National Guard. Highly proficient in computational programming languages such as Python, R, Julia, SAS, or related language. Highly proficient in data visualization tools such as RStudio, Plotly, PowerBI, Tableau, or related tool. Ability to analyze complex issues and present them in a clear and concise manner. Understanding of Air National Guard functions and missions under Title 10 and Title 32. Highly desired: Master’s Degree.
