Eminence Home Care is seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCA) for overnight shifts for a 24/7 client to join our compassionate team! As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential overnight care and support to patients in their homes. Your dedication will help ensure that each individual receives the comfort and assistance they need during nighttime hours, promoting a safe and supportive environment. What you'll be doing: Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing as needed during night hours. Monitor and assist with mobility and transfers throughout the night. Provide companionship, ensuring comfort and emotional support during the overnight hours. Help with meal preparation if necessary and assist with feeding during nocturnal hours. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the client's care, such as tidying up and laundry, as needed. What we're looking for: Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide or similar role preferred. Compassionate and caring attitude. Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions. Reliability and punctuality, especially for overnight shifts. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Proof of up-to-date immunizations and negative TB test. High School diploma or GED. The ability to think and work independently, with direction from a team leader or manager, while maintaining efficient and consistent communications at all times. Must also have excellent oral communication skills when speaking with other health professionals in the presence of patients (i.e. “bedside manner”). Can endure high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and keep a calm, professional demeanor throughout. Shifts available: Overnight; flexibility in scheduling is preferred. Behavioral Health Technician - RSS 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Recovery Support Specialist observes and assists assigned clients recovering from alcohol or substance abuse and helps with daily living activities, therapeutic activities, and socialization. BHTs are responsible for the overall maintenance of a therapeutic environment in a unit and to ensure safety of clients and staff. Essential Duties: ·       Conduct Q30s and 1:1 in accordance with hospital standards. Ask for assistance when other tasks take priority. Ensure there are no gaps in observations. ·       Participate in treatment engagement by helping identify patients' problems, needs, and strengths; suggesting modifications to the treatment plan based on observations of patients' behavior. ·       Co-facilitates didactic, educational, and community groups within the context of the treatment program encouraging and facilitating patients' participation in therapeutic activities. ·       Communicates information regarding patients' behavior to other members of treatment team. ·       Take direction from RN or LVN. Float to any unit as needed. Do not push back. ·       Maintain boundaries with patients and employees. ·       Observe patient for change in behavior. Work on de-escalation prior to a code.
