The Opportunity We are seeking a Farm Manager who is not only skilled in animal husbandry and organic farming  but also passionate about teaching and inspiring others. This role is central to Lori Grace’s vision: a farm that feeds people, heals the land, helps animals thrive and educates those who come to learn. Responsibilities Manage and care for ducks, chickens, goats, fish and soldier fly larvae  in humane, healthy systems. Plan, plant, and harvest eggs, fish and organic crops for residents and guests. Develop and maintain regenerative farming systems such as composting, soil improvement, and water conservation. Teach and mentor volunteers, apprentices, neighbors, and community members in organic farming practices.Manage and teach how to use human food waste to grow soldier fly larvae that then become food for chickens, ducks and fish. Maui’s food waste enhances climate change by creating methane We will show how to use human food waste usefully by feeding our high quality human food waste to soldier fly larvae. Collaborate with Hale Akua’s retreat team to align farm operations with community goals. Requirements Practical, hands-on experience in organic farming and animal husbandry. Strong communication skills; ability to teach, guide, and mentor others. Leadership and organizational ability to coordinate staff and volunteers. Passion for sustainability, food self-reliance, animal husbandry and community living. Tasks and responsibilities Consulting Contribute to and lead on delivery of bespoke threat assessments for clients, ensuring high quality and actionable outputs aligned to client requirements. Project manage client projects where appropriate, including taking responsibility for all or select aspects of project management (set-up, invoicing, internal / external comms, resourcing, managing projects effectively and efficiently) Support senior colleagues as relevant in analytical, reviewing, briefings and project managing threat assessments. Marketing and business development Contribute to business development activity including through scoping, drafting proposals / capability statements, pricing and delivery of consulting engagements. Produce marketing materials and public-facing assessments designed to demonstrate CTI capability and subject matter expertise. Responsible for liaising with senior team members in CTI, Digital Risks and other internal teams to highlight key threat developments and reports to be shared with clients and prospects. Brief specific clients and external audiences in closed and public format presentations on a range of cyber threat and technology-related topics. General analytical responsibilities Responsible for developing, maintaining and demonstrating strong subject matter expertise in cyber threat actors, computer network operations, electronic warfare, and geopolitics through attendance at conferences, industry events and constant research. Actively contribute to the team’s thought leadership and key analytical lines by proactively identifying new trends and developments. Requirements Educated to degree level or several years work experience in an intelligence, cyber security or social science field (Military, Terrorism, Politics, International Relations, Intelligence Studies). Highly motivated and ambitious individual with ability to self-task and develop own research. Practical knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts and mitigation methods. Practical demonstrable experience in the field of intelligence production, analysis, and review. Ability to present technical information and analysis to a non-technical audience. Experience presenting to senior stakeholders with an ability to adapt style and content to the experience and knowledge of the audience. Demonstrable experience in the field of cyber threat intelligence, cyber security and / or geopolitics through academic or professional engagement preferred. Understanding of both qualitative and quantitative analytical tools and techniques preferred. Intelligence analysis (CREST, NIAT, GIAT, DIAM, City and Guilds), CTI (CRTIA, CPTIA or CCTIM) or cyber security (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CLASS) qualifications are highly desirable but not essential. Experience using MS SharePoint tooling, including PowerBI and PowerAutomate preferred. Knowledge of additional non-English language is preferred. Ideal languages: Mandarin, Russian, Farsi, Arabic, Korean, and / or Spanish. The base salary range for this position in Washington DC is $80,000-$90,000 per year.
