Pain Management Physician – Anesthesiology Background Preferred Location: Phoenix, Arizona (additional opportunity available in Mesa) Employment Type: Full-Time | W-2 | Ownership Track Available Call Requirement: None Travel Requirement: Minimal, within local clinic locations Position Summary A top-performing, physician-led interventional pain management group in Phoenix, Arizona is actively recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management Physician with an anesthesiology foundation. This full-time opportunity is designed for interventionalists seeking high procedural volume, practice autonomy, and long-term growth—without call responsibilities or weekend obligations. Backed by a stable referral network, in-house PT and behavioral health integration, and a proven ownership model, this role offers immediate access to a full schedule and clear pathways for clinical and financial advancement. What Sets This Role Apart Strong Income Potential: Over $750,000 annually (base + quarterly bonus) Work-Life Balance: No call, no weekends, and a predictable procedural calendar Ownership Opportunity: ASC equity available after 24 months of employment Practice Infrastructure: Robust referral network ensures immediate case volume Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside PT, behavioral health, and surgical partners Autonomy with Support: Operate within a streamlined, physician-run environment Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $350,000 – $450,000 (depending on experience) Bonus Structure: Up to $400,000 annually in performance-based incentives Ownership Track: Ambulatory surgery center equity offered after two years Comprehensive Benefits Include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match and enhanced partner-level contributions Full malpractice coverage, including tail insurance 4 weeks PTO plus additional sick leave $1,500 annual CME stipend Paid Arizona state medical license and DEA registration Relocation support and/or sign-on bonus (negotiable) Primary Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with chronic and acute pain disorders Perform a range of interventional procedures under fluoroscopy and/or ultrasound, including: • Epidural steroid injections • Facet and medial branch blocks • Radiofrequency ablation • Spinal cord stimulator trials and permanent implants Apply anesthesia training to guide sedation protocols and peri-procedural management Provide patient education and counseling regarding treatment options Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize care plans Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EMR systems Participate in quality improvement, efficiency, and practice development efforts Candidate Requirements MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school Completed residency in Anesthesiology (ACGME-accredited) Completed (or currently completing) fellowship in Pain Medicine Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona Trained and proficient in fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided pain procedures Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team-based setting Motivated to participate in long-term practice and ASC growth Grow Your Pain Management Career in Arizona This is a unique opportunity to join a physician-centric organization known for procedural excellence, consistent patient volume, and financial transparency.
