Our mission is people’s success within the workplace industry. Our client is looking for a Handyman Technician to join the team and play a key role in maintaining and upkeeping their facilities. The ideal candidate will be highly service-oriented, with a focus on ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained work environment.  In this role, the technician will handle a variety of tasks including general repairs, preventive maintenance, and assisting with office moves and relocations. Responsibilities also include maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas, assisting with repairs, setting up and breaking down furniture for events, and managing recycling and waste disposal. The technician will work independently or as part of a team, following established procedures to ensure the safe use and handling of all equipment and materials.  Pay Range $20 - $25 per hour  Position Handyman Technician  Schedule 40hrs/week, Flexible availability based on operational needs Key Responsibilities:  Perform non-technical setup of furniture, lamps, appliances, and vacuum cleaners.  Assist with preventive maintenance of residential appliances.  Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas.  Assist with moving furniture for occupant turnover and special events.  Deliver and pick up tables, chairs, and canopies.  Remove and handle recycling materials and maintain cleanliness in common areas.  Operate manual and powered equipment for recycling tasks.  Operate equipment such as vacuums, electric tugs, pressure washers, and scrubbers for facility upkeep.  Maintain assigned work areas and report damages or needed repairs.  Assist with deliveries and deep cleaning during seasonal periods.  Perform other duties as assigned.  Skills and Abilities:  Ability to perform strenuous manual labor, including lifting items over 50 lbs.  Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance techniques.  Familiarity with safety regulations and proper use of equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.  Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.  Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.  Regular lifting, bending, and pushing of heavy items.  Working in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to moderate noise levels. Requirements High School Diploma or GED.  Minimum of 2 years in appliance and furniture assembly/repair.  1 year of experience as a mover a plus.  Basic computer skills in a work environment.
