Parkinson’s Disease Research Study Location: Eatontown, NJ, | New York City, NY Age Range: 18-85 Sex: Male/Female Stipend: Up to $2400 plus $70 travel reimbursement Study Schedule: The study duration will include 1 pre-study visit, 1 inpatient stay (4-nights/5-days), and a follow-up call (over 4 weeks). Study Information: Clinilabs is looking for adults who experience neurogenic orthostatic hypotension (nOH) due to Parkinson’s disease or pure autonomic failure (PAF) to join an inpatient research study. There is no cost to participate. We encourage you to review the participation requirements listed below. Study Qualifications: • Be between the ages of 18 and 85 years old • At least 110lbs in weight • Diagnosed with symptomatic orthostatic hypotension (nOH) due to Parkinson’s disease or pure autonomic failure (PAF) • Has a stable medication regimen for 3 months before screening Able and willing to: • Attend visits in either Eatontown, New Jersey, or Midtown Manhattan, New York • Available for 1 pre-study visit, 1 inpatient stay (4-nights/5-days), and a follow-up call (over 4 weeks) • Complete on-site pre-qualification testing, including, but not limited to, ECG, urinalysis, and bloodwork • If qualified, take the study drug and placebo Study Patients may receive compensation up to $2,400 for their time, participation, and travel. Clean resident apartments. To include bathrooms, sinks, showers/tubs, toilets, counter, walls and mirrors, windowsills, pictures on walls, doors, closets, dressers, night stands and telephones. Removes all trash from apartments and common areas, insures trash containers are clean and then relines container with appropriate liners. Properly cleans any biohazard spill or immediately; informs supervisor or director if a hazard exists.
