As an **Escort Driver** for Buckingham Heavy Transportation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe movement of oversized and over-dimensional loads on the road. Your primary responsibilities will include leading or following loads to ensure compliance with state regulations and ensuring the safety of the traveling public. This is a full-time position that will require overtime and the ability to spend Overnight(s) on the road based on transport schedules. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with the truck driver to ensure accurate routing and timing of transport. Communicate with law enforcement and other escorts as needed to facilitate smooth transport. Provide clear guidance and directions to the truck driver during transport. Monitor road conditions and adjust routes as necessary. Ensure all necessary permits and safety measures are in place for transport. Maintain communication with the transport team throughout the journey. Assist in post-transport assessments, ensuring all loads have arrived safely and securely. Requirements Valid driver's license. Experience in escort driving, preferred but not required. Familiarity with oversized load regulations and safety practices strongly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively and follow operational guidelines.
