NYC Alliance Company LLC is seeking a talented and creative Designer specializing in Loungewear for the 525 America brand. The Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating fashionable, comfortable loungewear collections that resonate with our customer base and align with the brand's identity. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal collections, including researching trends and customer preferences. Create sketches, technical specifications, and tech packs for all loungewear products. Work closely with merchandising and production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently. Conduct market analysis and competitor research to inform design direction. Manage the sample development process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Participate in design reviews and presentations, articulating design concepts and rationale. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in fabrics and garment construction. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field. 5+ years and add a note that Sweaters experience would be a plus, but not required. Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and design skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical design software. Knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and production processes. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects. Passion for fashion and an understanding of 525 America's aesthetic. In this critical role, you will serve as the primary escalation point for IT issues that L1 support cannot resolve, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
