Position Title: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) – Comprehensive Women’s Health, Outpatient & Inpatient Location: Phoenix, Arizona Employment Type: Full-Time Practice Setting: Women’s Health Clinic & Hospital Labor & Delivery About the Opportunity Our established women’s health practice in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our highly respected team. This full-time role offers the unique opportunity to provide care across both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings, allowing you to guide patients through every stage of their reproductive health journey—from prenatal visits through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate CNM who is deeply committed to clinical excellence, patient advocacy, and expanding access to equitable reproductive healthcare. Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience) Incentives: Performance-based bonuses tied to productivity and quality metrics Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays CME allowance with dedicated time for professional development Reimbursement for licensure, certification, and board renewals Employer-paid malpractice coverage Key Responsibilities Provide full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic services Manage spontaneous vaginal deliveries independently; assist with cesarean births as needed Perform well-woman exams, contraception counseling, and preventive screenings Support postpartum recovery with breastfeeding guidance and newborn care education Educate patients on family planning, reproductive health, and birth options Collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, nursing teams, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Document all patient interactions accurately and efficiently within the EHR system Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nurse-midwifery program Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) Active Arizona CNM license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire BLS certification preferred Minimum one year of full-scope midwifery experience strongly preferred Ideal Candidate Profile We are seeking a confident, compassionate CNM who thrives in both clinic and hospital environments.
