Responsibilities Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, subpoenas, and other litigation documents. Assist with case management, including organizing case files, maintaining document databases, and tracking deadlines. Conduct legal research, investigate facts, and summarize findings for attorney review. Manage discovery process, including document collection, review, production, and preparation of privilege logs. Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation, including witness lists, exhibits, and trial binders. Summarize depositions, medical records, contracts, and other relevant case materials. Communicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner. Assist with e-filing in state and federal courts and ensure compliance with local rules and procedures. Support attorneys with trial preparation and provide in-trial assistance as needed. Maintain billing records, track time, and assist with case budgeting and expense management.
