The Critical Engineering Technician plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our hyperscale, multi-building data center campus. This hands-on position is responsible for ensuring the uptime, reliability, and performance of critical facility systems. Critical Engineering Technicians perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to alarms or incidents involving power, cooling, and networking equipment. The Critical Engineering Technician works across multiple areas, including critical equipment support spaces, that demand precision and strict adherence to operational protocols. This position coordinates with internal teams such as operations, engineering, and security, as well as external vendors and contractors. Critical Engineering Technicians are detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced, 24/7 mission-critical environments. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all standard and non-standard activities in accordance with Stream Data Centers’ operating procedures or maintenance work instructions.
